Reviews for Mr Mamak
Review highlights
Based on 321 reviewsMr Mamak is widely regarded for its flavorful North Indian cuisine combined with local influences, offering dishes such as butter chicken, biryani, and mutabak that receive consistent praise for their taste and generous portions. Customers appreciate the restaurant’s reasonable pricing, attributed in part to the absence of GST, service, and takeaway charges. The ambiance is frequently described as pleasant, making it a popular spot for both casual meals and social gatherings. While the food quality and value stand out, some patrons note limited parking availability during peak times as a minor drawback. Overall, Mr Mamak is recognized as a reliable dining choice in the Changi Village area, known for good food, inviting atmosphere, and affordability.
Decided to try this place when visiting the Changi Village area. We had Naan with butter chicken. It was delicious. So we ordered a few more other dishes for our family to try. This will be one of my go-to places to eat now.
Awesome place with nice ambience.A mixture of North Indian cuisine and local delicacies worth trying.Price wise, they claimed no GST, no service tax and no take away charges, so its quite reasonable in my opinion.Parking is a slight hassle as its rather limited in lots during peak hours and weekends.
Briyani is very nice and affordable priceFrom the look of the portion seem small but actually quite big portionMutabak is very big portion
Great food and ambience. Reasonable priced.
Me & badminton buddies will seat ourselves here every Sat nites after our games.Mojitos will be our drinks. And without fail, they'd serve their fiery sambal belacan (sometimes too hot for us to handle).U won't go wrong with their Bryani Dum, chapattis & Naan.
Fantastic Indian food, both veg and non veg. Staff is very friendly especially Bhaskar. Owner Idris is a gentleman and helpful and understanding. We were a group of 25 people which was handled and taken care of well by the entire team smoothly.
Simple and very good Indian foods. Especially chappathi mix veg really good. Chappathi was really soft. Mix veg is watery but tastes good. Drinks Mango fizzer was good.
The mutton briyani is good, takeaway, rice is plenty, complete with gravy and kinda of salad, yoghurt and vege mix. Nice. Even the hongkong noodle is nice
